Granted, none of the product research platforms are technically free, but for starters, they share some tips on how to go about it.
It's great to see someone sharing these insider hacks.
And if that's not enough, Kamil details what to look for in items to increase your chances of finding a winner.
You'll also learn how to find influencers on Instagram using metrics to help you determine which product is right for you and your budget.
Also, what questions to ask and how to make sure you don't go bankrupt if you don't get noticed when it's time to publish.
Kamil guides students through setting up their Shopify store and what plugins and apps they should download.
Sattar also discusses how to set up all your email marketing campaigns and increase the chances of your store visitors giving you their email address.
It follows its own logic when deciding which ads to increase and when to disable.
A lot of product promotion these days is about staying one step ahead of your competition.
The latest marketing trend is the use of high-quality video creations. It allows you to touch the senses of customers and highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the sales offer.
Sattar shows you how to use the basic video production app he uses in his stores.
It's clear from his YouTube training that Sattar understands the small details that allow him to reap the rewards.

2. Who is Kamil Sattar?
Mohammed Kamil Sattar comes from England and has been associated with the eCommerce space for 4 years.
Earning recognition from the Forbes Internet Business Council, Sattar claims to have generated over $3 million a year in various companies.
For a 22-year-old, these are impressive numbers.
His companies include:
Kamil seems to like routine and prepare himself for a successful day. It encourages people to manage their energy through exercise and nutrition.
3. How does Dropshipping work?
In dropshipping, you source your product from a supplier who will hold inventory and ship the product to your customers on your behalf.
You build your online store to showcase your product so customers can buy it from you.
When you make a sale, your supplier takes care of packaging and shipping.
Unlike traditional retail or conventional e-commerce, you never see or touch an item - everything is handled for you.
In theory, you make money by keeping the difference between how much an item cost you and what you sold it for.
However, there are additional costs to consider:
The impressive numbers published by some representatives of the dropshipping industry are very different from what they end up transferring to their bank accounts.
If you are making a 20-25% profit, you are way ahead of most dropshippers.
4. Is dropshipping legal or a scam?
At its core, dropshipping is a very legitimate business model.
Simply put, there are several well-known brands whose entire business is based on dropshipping.
However, even this giant shows the painful truth - dropshipping can still drain your bank account and there is no guarantee that you will turn a profit at the end of the day.
While there are many legitimate businesses both large and small in the dropshipping field, there is a reason why it has a reputation for being scam.
By the way, not to mention the many former dropshippers who sell courses misleading people into thinking they can drive Lambos and private jets.
Speaking of expensive courses, you're probably wondering.
5. How much does the Kamil course cost?
It depends on what you are looking for:
The eCom King Dropshipping course is completely FREE on YouTube.
And that may be all you need from eCom King.
That's certainly enough to get someone moving.
Of course, as a smart business owner, with all the rage in business these days, when you have a client or potential client's contact information, you wonder how to make money from it.
So yes, this free course is a technical lead magnet.
With this in mind, eCom King offers some useful services for an additional fee.
Perhaps you could use something that was done for you, such as setting up a store or a video ad.
Or maybe a consultation call with Kamil or another member of his team will be just what you need to get the keys to the lock.
Kamil and his team also offer a mentoring program where you work side by side with one of his trusted dropshipping team who holds your hand every step of the way like a knight in shining armor.
It includes daily conversations AND agreeing to perform activities exactly as directed by the mentor.
Before joining the mentoring program, there is a qualifying process and a sales interview.
It also states that they only receive 5 new customers per month.
All in all, I don't think it's cheap given the amount of 1-on-1 attention.
Again, you don't need to buy anything to take advantage of the eCom King introductory training.

6. The YouTube course is completely free.
Kamil provides more insight here than many other dropshipping gurus who charge for their programs.
Can't beat it for value!
Getting started with product sourcing, creating a store, and Facebook ads is very difficult.
7. Kamil reminds students that dropshipping is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme.
It's refreshing to hear someone remind people not to dropship, thinking it's easy and will become millionaires overnight.
His recommendation is to have at least $1,000 to start with, otherwise it's not worth it.
Here is a breakdown of setup costs according to Sattar.
Kamil honestly tells people what level of investment is required to get started and not expect great success in the first year of dropshipping.
In addition, he emphasizes that this is a 1-3 year game plan where you will see what numbers he will get from his stores.
Something he didn't address was the need for funds to pay the supplier!
Most of these programs (for convenience) forget to mention that you will need to purchase the products from your supplier before you ship them to your customer.
Suppose you find a product you can buy for $20 and list it in your store for $40.
With commercials, you're in luck and sold 25 copies in your first week.
Yes, you get $1,000 (minus trading fees), but you have to pay $500 to pay for the goods and maybe more for shipping.
When you start out, expect Shopify to hold your store's money for up to 3 months until you've built a solid reputation for customer service.
In the meantime, you're still selling products and need to pay the supplier to deliver them as soon as possible.
You screw it up at first, and things get even tougher with Shopify and your sellers, who will see you as a high-risk industry in an already high-risk industry.
Not good.
8. Sattar and his team do dropshipping themselves
Now you should be very careful of anyone selling a course when they no longer have the capital invested in the business model.
Think about it for a moment.
There's a reason they got out of it, and many of them sold their stores after they got out.
IMO Sattar and his team operate in the dropshipping space.
Yes, you may wonder why they want to share their secrets in such a competitive industry; at least they have some skin in the game and they should know what they're doing.
I would trust these guys to be up to date on what is currently working, not someone who is only focused on selling courses.
9. Includes time-specific updates
If you work in the dropshipping industry, you've probably at least heard of the craze that is the fourth quarter.
eCom King even provided a free training video on dropshipping setup and operation during the busiest sales season.
the best part? Kamil is even honest enough to say directly whether trying to compete here, you run the risk of a disaster.
Namely, if you do not have enough funds for the fourth quarter, it is not a good idea to try to play the game. Advertising spend is much more expensive, supply chains are stretched, competition is fierce, and you don't have much time to find suppliers.
That is, he gives the impression of someone who is trying to help people, not to gather views or encourage people.
Sattar mentions that it takes about 5 days of work to create these courses, so I respect him for making a YouTube video in Q4, given that many dropshipping dynamics are different than the rest of the year.

10. You will be tempted to buy and enlarge
I really cannot condemn Sattar for his course and anyone in their right mind will respect him for making such an absurd amount of wisdom available for free.
It's fair that they drop a lead magnet here and an affiliate link there.
It's more than reasonable - you'd better get used to it in the online business world.
11. No Facebook group unless you buy mentoring.
It would be useful to access and connect with others to see social proof.
Let me repeat once again: I can't complain about it, because we don't pay for the course.
12. Not a recommended business model for 2021
How was 2020.
There is a lot of talk about how much e-commerce has developed.
Of course, if you represent Amazon, Walmart, Target and other big brands, the pandemic has helped change online shopping habits.
And yes, people started buying more things online than in brick-and-mortar stores.
But with the number of eCommerce stores already competing with, the good old days of dropshipping are far behind us.
That's over a million stores in Shopify alone. We don't even count all other e-commerce platforms.
When the competition is so fierce, there will always be someone willing to lower the price to get more customers.
Check out this post. The data is from 2018, which means those estimates will now be lower.
Not surprisingly, profit margins have disappeared and most stores are happy to make $1,000 a year.
In the world of dropshipping, it is almost impossible to find accurate data on real income. We are talking about income that goes to your bank account and covers your living expenses.
Another thing that is just starting to be revealed but is likely to shake up the e-commerce world is Apple's new privacy policy in iOS 14.
Yes, people could always opt out of data tracking by looking at their settings.
I doubt many people would care because it wasn't that obvious how many companies like Facebook track them.
When a notice appears on their mobile showing how much data our Facebook friends are collecting, even when we stop scrolling our Facebook feed, they will be horrified.
Why is this a problem for dropshippers?
Well, Facebook tracks people to know all their interests and collect as much data as possible to create an accurate picture of who you are, what your motives are and all your interests.
It can then sell this data or use it to target ads.
Dropshippers will not be able to target demographics and interests with the same accuracy. This will mean less effective advertising for your product.
I believe the cover is a blow to Facebook and many people will be horrified to learn how Facebook has been spying on their online activities for years.
This is how people like Mark Zuckerberg made obscene amounts of money. Did you know that his fortune is currently estimated at $90 billion?
I'm sure some people love targeted advertising and don't mind being pawns in a winner-take-all marketing industry.

13. Do Kamil's students really make money?
Without access to some networking in a Facebook group, it's hard to say for sure.
King's eCom Instagram stories show examples of stores that could be successful examples of students.
14. Who is good for eCom King?
This is a great option if you are wondering what dropshipping is and how to get started.
Kamil brings a lot of knowledge and it will take you some time to implement the strategy.
But the situation is that without initial support or a Facebook group where ideas can be exchanged, you will have to deal with working on concepts on your own.
However, you can always make an appointment for a consultation if you hit a wall.
15. What are the alternatives to eCom King Kamil?
In short, free courses of the highest quality do not exist.

It's true that Franklin uses his Turbo Shopify eCom template in tutorials.
Creating a store can be a bit more difficult if you don't want to spend the extra $97 on eCom Turbo.
Franklin is a master of all things affiliate marketing, which seems to be where he makes the most money.
Even if the course is cheap, Frank knows that in the long run he will earn more from his affiliate links.
Both Hatchet and Chrisp continue to dropship, which is a good sign for those who work hard on their courses.
I am parting with eCom King
If you want to get into dropshipping and learn from someone who is currently in the trenches, this free course from eCom King is the perfect choice for you.
It's true that Sattar won't make you money if you don't buy another of their products, BUT it provides value above all else.
This is where the rubber meets the road.
While this is a free Sattar education, it is important to consider the amount of time you will spend studying the material.
To put all this into practice, you will need much more time than the length of the video.
Opportunity cost must also be considered.
Kamil estimates at least a year, but more likely 1-3 years, to deliver a significant, life-changing level of profit.
All this assuming that people will have an income and the ability to continue consuming products at the same rate before recession and mass unemployment become a reality.
I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't point you to a much safer and more sustainable business model.

AliExpress is a major destination, but if everyone is selling the same products, the only thing to compete with is the price.
Let's not even get into the rising cost of paid ads as more and more people throw money into Facebook's coffers.
Yes, it's easy to follow the crowd.
Hell, our human instinct even makes it seem like a safe option because we're programmed to fit in and it's safe to do the same as everyone else.
But following the herd is no big deal.
